Stephen shared that the programme changes are designed based on the guiding principle of being stakeholder-centric. The stakeholder-centric methodology aims at maximising the benefits of various key stakeholders including members, partners, and staff.  Key messages of the programme changes are highlighted: more miles earned when flying Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon; the number of available redemption seats to be increased; a new flight award online booking system to be launched to enhance user experiences.
In addition, the application of Blockchain and gamification miles earning journey in the recent “Unlock More Miles” marketing campaign and redemption offer on concerts and experiences were also mentioned.

Stephen also mentioned that more new airline partners with Asia focus will be added. He believes Dragonair's rebranding to Cathay Dragon later this year may help bring more overseas members to Asia Miles, as travelers will be aware of the relationship between the two airlines, which will be more frequently used especially when visiting mainland China.
